Connect Claude or ChatGPT to your business in 2 minutes with Aura

You ask Claude "how much did I sell today?" and he answers you with a made-up figure, because he doesn't know your business. That's over: Aura now speaks MCP, the standard protocol with which Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants connect to real systems. In 2 minutes, your favorite assistant can see your sales, inventory, and CRM for real — and even record leads, tasks, and appointments for you.

What is this and why does it matter?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard that AI labs created so attendees can use external tools safely. Claude supports it natively, and the ChatGPT app ecosystem is built on the same protocol. When a system "talks MCP", any assistant can operate it.

Aura now exposes an official MCP connector. That means that the AI that you already use every day stops being a generic advisor and becomes an operator of your business: it responds with your real numbers and executes actions that are recorded in your system, with permissions and auditing.

What your assistant can do connected to Aura

The connector starts with a curated catalog of 18 tools:

  • Consult: summary of sales by period, orders and their details, products and their inventory, low stock alerts, best-selling products, customers, leads and CRM opportunities, calendar agenda, team tasks, quotes, purchase orders to suppliers and the status of the omnichannel inbox.
  • Execute (safe actions): register a lead in the CRM, create a task for the team and schedule an event on the calendar.
  • Money actions (collect, invoice, refund) arrive in the next version with explicit confirmation — by design: your assistant never moves money without your approval.

Tutorial: connect it in 2 minutes

You don't need to know anything technical. Just two steps:

  • Step 1 — Create your key: In Aura go to Settings → API keys and generate a new key with the “mcp:read” (query only) or “mcp:write” (query + actions) permission. Copy it.
  • Step 2 — In Claude: open claude.ai → Settings → Connectors → "Add custom connector". Paste the URL https://aura.cownnection.com/api/v1/mcp and your key as authentication. Ready.
  • Test: ask "how much have I sold this week and what product moved the most?" — the answer comes from your real database, not your imagination.

Security: how we protect your business

  • The key is yours and by organization: you revoke it whenever you want from Aura and the assistant loses access instantly.
  • Granular permissions: A read-only key will never be able to write anything, even if the wizard tries to.
  • Usage limit per key and log of each call — you know exactly what your assistant consulted and when.
  • True multi-tenant: the key only sees data from YOUR organization. It's the same permissions architecture that all of Aura uses.

This is just the beginning

The connector is the door for the AI of your choice to operate your business from where you live: your chat. The next versions add quote and charge with confirmation, publishing on social networks and executive reports on demand. And if you live within Aura, remember that Aura Pilot already does all this and more, natively.

Stop sticking tools. Operate your entire business with Aura.

ERP, CRM, point of sale, billing, WhatsApp and more — in a single system with AI that works for you. Try 14 days for $14.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work with ChatGPT or just Claude?

With both. The ChatGPT app ecosystem is built on MCP, the same protocol. Also works with any MCP client (Cursor, etc.).

Can the assistant see data from other Aura clients?

No. The API key belongs to your organization and only accesses your data, with the same multi-tenant architecture as the rest of the platform.

Can you charge a customer or make an invoice?

Not yet — on purpose. Money Actions arrive in v2 with explicit confirmation from you for each trade.

How much does it cost?

The connector is included in Aura One. Wizard queries use your normal system of permissions and limits.
